What ages are included in the Amadeus Chorale? The SaraSingers are ages 6-10; the Lyric Choir is ages 11-14
What is the audition like? It's not an audition in the sense of casting a Broadway show. We simply check that the child can match pitch in a non-stressed head voice. We accept every child who can do this.
May parents stay for rehearsals? Yes, if there is room next door to our rehearsal.
Is there a cost? Yes, there is tuition. $175 for January-June, 2026. Because of generous donations from our community, we offer a scholarship program. Click for application. Families are responsible for purchasing performance clothing.
Where is the rehearsal room? Enter the Lancaster Church of the Brethren from the Sunset Avenue side. Go up the stairs to our room.

What do you mean this is a safe space for my child? All directors and accompanists have their clearances that are required for everyone working with children. Beyond that, we foster an environment of respect for every aspect of each singer - their ethnicity, religion, homelife, and cultural background.
